Stores Operator

Stores Operator – Cork

Flexsource are currently recruiting for a Stores Operator on behalf of a client based in Cork Little Island.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and flexible individual to join a fast-paced warehouse and stores environment. The successful candidate will report directly to the Stores Manager and will be required to support multiple departments as business needs arise.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be actively involved in the day-to-day operations of a busy warehouse and stores function, including but not limited to:

Health & Safety

Ensure compliance with all company Health & Safety standards and procedures

Carry out daily equipment checks and maintain all relevant logs accurately

Maintain high housekeeping standards across the warehouse and stores areas

Goods Receiving

Ensure all deliveries are checked, tracked and booked into the system accurately

Maintain all receiving documentation and ensure records are easily retrievable

Carry out visual inspections on incoming deliveries and report any issues identified

Kitting & Production Support

Prepare and kit production orders in line with production schedules

Ensure late deliveries are expedited to the production floor and accurately recorded

Key Requirements

Previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience desirable

Experience using inventory management systems is advantageous

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Good communication and organisational skills

Forklift licence desirable but not essential
