Yard Operative / Forklift Driver

Location: Naas
Pay Rate: €14.95 per hour

Flexsource is currently recruiting a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy Animal Feed Mill in Naas.

This is a hands-on role that combines forklift operation with general yard duties. It is ideal for someone who enjoys varied work and being part of a busy operational environment.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am – 5:00pm
• A 10-hour working day is expected
• Overtime paid at 1.5x the hourly rate after 8 hours worked each day

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• Load bulk trucks
• Coordinate vehicle movements within the yard
• Pick and prepare customer orders
• Split pallets to meet customer requirements
• Carry out general yard duties
• Assist with light manual handling tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Support the day-to-day operations of the feed mill

Requirements

• Valid forklift licence (preferred)
• Previous experience in a warehouse, yard, or industrial environment is an advantage
• Ability to work in a physically active role
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• Flexible attitude with a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks
