Pre-Press Graphic Specialist

Flexsource is currently recruiting for a Pre-Press Graphic Specialist on behalf of a leading label and packaging manufacturer based in Dublin. The Role

As a Pre-Press Graphic Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and managing customer-supplied artwork for production, ensuring all files meet technical and print specifications before going to press. You will play a key role in maintaining print quality, colour accuracy, and workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-flight incoming artwork to ensure all job specifications are met.
• Prepare customer-supplied artwork for production, including die lines, white layers, text adjustments, and colour management.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of all final artwork files released to production.
• Communicate with customers regarding artwork changes, specifications, and colour requirements.
• Train customers and designers on correct artwork submission standards.
• Liaise with Customer Service and Production teams to support smooth workflow.
• Work closely with press operators to manage colour approval and quality requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the pre-press department.
• Participate in training, meetings, and process improvement activities.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a pre-press, graphic design, or print production environment.
• Strong understanding of print processes, colour management, and artwork setup.
• Experience with HP Indigo or similar digital print systems is a strong advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both clients and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
