This is a fully onsite position, supporting manufacturing, engineering and operational teams across the site.

The Opportunity
Reporting into the site leadership team, you will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the site's Environmental, Health & Safety Management System, ensuring full compliance with Irish and European legislation together with corporate EHS standards.
You will work closely with manufacturing, engineering, facilities and quality teams to foster a proactive safety culture while supporting operational excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of site-wide Environmental, Health & Safety programmes.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant Irish, European and corporate EHS legislation, standards and policies.
- Develop, review and maintain EHS procedures, policies, risk assessments and supporting documentation.
- Monitor environmental, health and safety performance and prepare compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain all required environmental and health & safety records and documentation.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory bodies and external agencies including the HSA, local authorities, emergency services and environmental agencies.
- Monitor changes in EHS legislation and ensure site compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
- Design, deliver and coordinate EHS training programmes across all departments.
- Lead internal and external EHS audits and support regulatory inspections.
- Manage accident, incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring robust root cause analysis and implementation of effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
- Track and report on EHS performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach, mentor and support engineering, manufacturing and technical teams in EHS best practices.
- Promote a positive safety culture through employee engagement and visible leadership.
About You
You are a confident EHS professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has a proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
You will bring:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- A minimum of five years' Environmental, Health & Safety experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, electronics or another GMP manufacturing environment would be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of Irish and European Environmental, Health & Safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Experience implementing and maintaining Environmental, Health & Safety Management Systems.
- Experience leading internal and external audits.
- Strong incident investigation and CAPA management experience.
- Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
