Construction Labourers

Flexsource are currently recruiting for Construction Labourers for a number of sites based around Dublin. You will be responsible for supporting tradespeople. The role involves manual labour, site preparation, material handling, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting with a variety of construction tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, bricklayers, plumbers, electricians, and groundworkers.
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare and clear construction sites before, during, and after work activities.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely and correctly.
• Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and assist with groundwork.
• Erect and dismantle temporary barriers, fencing, and site protection as instructed.
• Clean work areas and remove debris to maintain a safe site.
• Follow instructions from the Site Manager or Foreman.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and site procedures.
• Wear and maintain the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report hazards, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately.
• Assist with deliveries and stock organisation.
• Carry out other general labouring duties as reasonably required.

Skills and Experience

• Previous construction or labouring experience is desirable but not essential.
• Safe Pass certification (required).
• Manual Handling certification (preferred).
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual work in various weather conditions.

• Right to work in Ireland.
• Ability to travel to construction sites.
