The Role

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced for a CNC Technician (Woodwork) to join a a well-established manufacturing company with over 50 years of experience delivering high-quality bespoke products to clients across Ireland.

In this role, you will work closely with clients and internal production teams to develop detailed drawings and ensure smooth project delivery from concept through to manufacture and installation.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation: Safely set up, cycle, and operate woodworking CNC machinery to produce components to exact specifications.

Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret detailed CAD drawings, joinery drawings, and technical specifications.

Quality Control: Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure high quality standards are consistently achieved.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, daily checks, and basic troubleshooting of CNC machinery.

Optimization: Monitor and improve machine efficiency, meeting and exceeding operational KPIs.

Requirements

Experience: 1–3 years’ experience operating CNC machines within woodworking, joinery, carpentry, or furniture manufacturing.

Work Style: Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently on bespoke projects.

Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and basic computer literacy for interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
