Warehouse Forklift Driver-North Dublin

Flexsource is currently recruiting a number of Warehouse Forklift Driver based in St Margarets for our Client, a large logistics company.

This is the ideal role for someone who has previous forklift, warehouse and logistics experience and would like to progress their career in Warehousing.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse environment, strong work ethic and excellent time keeping & attendance.

General duties including but not limited to:

·      Takes part in all cleaning functions daily and signs off check sheet.

·      Ensures contracted suppliers comply with company quality procedures.

·      Maintains pro-active communication/relationship with peers/superiors and especially informs superior immediately of discrepancies, problems or non-performance or non-observance

·      Label Import / Export freight as required.

·      Load & Offload domestic and international vehicles, mark manifests and notify discrepancies and damages.

·      Complete any warehouse related documentation is completed for operations.

·      Ensures all warehouse related tasks are performed in the Road freight application (EVO) Air Freight (FSI)

·      Action Operational irregularities / customer complaints and implement corrective actions.

·      Ensures all physical barcode scanning is performed as require.

·      Ensures good housekeeping, bins emptied daily.

·      Co-ordinates loading and offloading of Ocean/Air Road Export/Import and Domestic vehicles from Monday to Saturday and completes final weekly inventories.

·      Ordering, stock control, maintenance of warehouse supplies / equipment

·      Monitors day to day H&S in the warehouse and highlight areas of concern.

·      Facilitates customer & quality audits.

·      Controls DGF bonded warehouse

·      Work closely with Yardman to manage trailer capacity and lane control.

·      Ensure all import/export manifests and trailer check sheets are printed off for each load.

·      When trailers are loaded/offloaded make sure that both manifest sheets are marked with any discrepancies and signed by the person that offloaded the trailer.

·      Ensure that all documents and manifests are forwarded to the designated site location as soon as possible.

·      Ensures compliance with all health and safety guidelines and procedures and verifies that all team members and visitors entering the warehouse are equipped with full personal protective equipment (PPE).

·      Ensure operational compliance to all revenue and international trade legislative requirements, and all requirements under Data Protection Legislation in addition to all DGF IE policies and procedures (H&S, Quality, Environmental, HR, etc), and work in a manner that supports the Company environment programme.

Participate in the implementation of operational processes and perform work to the standards of Good Distribution practice (GDP) for Life Science business, as required.

Skills/Certification:

Counterbalance, Reach and PPT licence with experience

Ability to do 5 year background check due to aviation garda vetting

B licence due to early shift start

Working hours:

Monday – Saturday 6.00– 14.00 (37.5 hour week) day off between Monday and Friday
