We are currently looking for experienced printing operatives to join our client with an immediate start.
Desired candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a folder gluer operator with crash lock and patching experience in a packaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate printing presses and related equipment to produce printed materials such as books, brochures, catalogues, and packaging materials.
- Set up and adjust printing press settings, including the ink flow, speed, and pressure, to achieve the desired print quality.
- Collaborate with the prepress team to ensure that printing plates and other materials are prepared correctly for each print job.
- Ensure that printed materials are properly packaged and prepared for shipment or delivery to the customer.
- Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Experience in printing/packaging environment is a must
Weekly hours :
39 hours weekly, Mon- Fri , day and night shifts
