We are currently looking for an experienced Chemical Operative, ideally who has experience working with hazardous chemicals, to join busy site in Cork city.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Blending detergents, chemicals, water treatment products and food ingredients as per S.O.P. / Formulation.
- Labelling containers and filling off product.
- Ensure mixing tank cleanliness after each batch produced.
-Completion of Production Records-Job I.D. Cards, Production Logs, Cleaning Records etc.
- Maintaining a clean workplace.
-Movement of raw materials and finished products within the warehouse using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Liaising with Production Manager in timely fashion on safety issues, when breakdowns occur, or repairs are needed.
- Washing IBC’s as and when required.
WORKING HOURS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility, essential.
- Previous chemical production, essential.
- Forklift experience required.
- Full Clean drivers Licence.
39 hours weekly Mon- Fri 8.00-5.00
