Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Our client, located in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, is a dynamic and high-volume logistics provider supporting the distribution of homeware, garden products, and apparel for leading retail chains. The warehouse operates on a seven-day schedule, from Sunday through Saturday.

Candidates must be flexible in relation to shift pattern:

Shift pattern open roles:

1. Morning Shift – 06:00 – 14:00 (Flexible start time 6am, 7am, to 14:00pm) 
2. Afternoon – 14:00 – 22:00 
3. Night Shift - 22:00 – 06:00 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Carry out a variety of warehouse tasks across multiple departments, including operating a voice-picking system.
2. Accurately pick and verify stock for dispatch to retail locations, ensuring efficiency and attention to detail.
3. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet daily targets and operational goals.
4. Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
5. Contribute to the smooth running of the warehouse by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and general upkeep.

Job Requirements: 

1. Previous warehouse experience and knowledge of voice-picking systems are an advantage but not essential.
2. Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written, are required. 
3. A valid Manual Handling Certificate is preferred, but training can be provided if necessary.
4. Must be flexible with working hours, including availability for various shifts as needed.

Hours:

1. 5 days working, including weekends.
2. Hours Vary
3. Full time hours available 

Pay:

1. Day shift is 13.90€ per hour (with an opportunity for pay rate to be increased to € 14.95/h after 6 weeks of training)
2. Night shift 16.68€ (after 6 weeks of training 17.94€ h)
3. Sunday shift 20.85€ /h (after 6 weeks of training 22.42€ /h)
