Van Driver / Landscaper

Flexsource is recruiting on behalf of a leading infrastructure services provider in Ireland. We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Van Driver / Landscaper to join our dynamic team based at the Sandyford service depot. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in landscaping and driving with full training provided—no prior experience is required.

Job Title: Van Driver / Landscaper

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive company vans safely to and from worksites and depots.
• Assist in a variety of landscaping tasks including lawn care, planting, hedge trimming, and garden maintenance.
• Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment with training provided.
• Support general site maintenance and keep work areas tidy and safe.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.
• Work well within a team and take initiative when working independently.
• Support depot operations and carry out general duties as needed.

Key Requirements:

• Valid Full B driving licence with a minimum of 6 months' driving experience preferred, but training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
• No prior landscaping or driving experience necessary—full training provided.
• Willingness to learn and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours including availability for occasional on-call shifts.

Working Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Standard Shifts:
  • Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
  • Friday: 06:00 – 14:30
• Availability for on-call work outside of standard hours is required

Pay:

• Base Rate: €14.80 per hour
• Night Shift Premium (1.3x): €19.24
• Overtime (1.5x after 40 hours): €22.20
• Emergency On-Call (1.75x): €25.90
• Sunday/Bank Holiday (2x): €29.60
• Tax-Free Daily Subsistence: €8.28
• Weekly On-Call Allowance: €190
