Rigid Driver in North Dublin

Job Description

Flexsource are currently recruiting a Rigid Driver for our client, a leading distributor of high-quality fresh and frozen poultry and chilled goods to the foodservice industry in Ireland. This role is based in North Dublin and offers an excellent opportunity to join a growing team.

Job Title: Rigid Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete daily vehicle and paperwork checks before and after each shift
• Deliver and collect goods using pallets and trolleys
• Provide a high level of customer service when interacting with clients
• Load and unload company vehicles safely
• Work both independently and as part of a team
• Learn and complete deliveries across multiple routes (5–6 routes required)
• Participate in initial route training (approx. 10 days) and transition to working independently
• Provide cover for routes due to holidays, absences, or business needs
• Carry out ad hoc duties as required

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months experience driving with a Category C licence
• Full clean driving licence
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• CPC Card with up-to-date modules
• Manual Handling certificate (advantageous, training can be provided)
• Flexibility and willingness to support business needs

Hours:

• Monday to Saturday (average 40 hours per week)
• Must be available for at least 2–3 Saturdays per month
• Day off during the week when working Saturday (unless opting for overtime)
• Start times vary depending on routes:
  • Typically between 04:00 – 06:30am

Pay:

• €20.00 per hour
• Overtime available depending on business needs
• €15.00 daily meal allowance
