Production Operatives – Naas, Co. Kildare
Flexsource is currently recruiting multiple Production Operatives for our client based in Naas, Co. Kildare. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established, global company within the agri-food sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out facility operations including loading/unloading trucks, filling and reclaiming grain ground piles, and general grain handling (up to 20kg bags)
- Perform basic maintenance and operator care of production equipment to ensure smooth operations
- Receive incoming goods, verify documentation against shipment records, and check for damages
- Ensure safe and efficient storage of products in the warehouse, minimizing damage
- Operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, palletizers, stretch-film wrappers, labelers, and conveyors
- Complete housekeeping duties and general warehouse maintenance
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or production experience is essential
- Ability to perform physical duties including bending, lifting (up to 20kg), and kneeling
- Good level of English (verbal and written)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor environments (heat, cold, dust, noise) while wearing PPE
Shift Pattern
- Rotating shifts: one week of days, one week of evenings
- Days: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Evenings: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Pay & Benefits
- €14.15 per hour + 20% shift allowance = €16.98 per hour
- 25 days annual leave
