Logistics Assistant

Flexsource are currently recruiting for a motivated and enthusiastic Logistics Assistant for our client based in Fermoy Cork.

The Role of the Logistics Assistant is to carry out takes and responsible for supporting the plant manager & operations Supply Chain team.

Job Duties Include :

• Assists with planning and implementation
• Provides training, guidance and advice to others as required
• Liaises with internal staff at all levels and coordinates work with support of other internal teams
• Coordinates messenger and courier service.
• Prepares outgoing mail for distribution.
• Reviews operating practices and implements improvements where necessary
• Manages and maintains schedules, appointments and travel arrangements
• Files and retrieves documents and reference materials.
• Helps develop and create professional tools including spreadsheets, correspondence and reports

Requirements :

Minimum of 1-2 years’ relevant experience

Advanced experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Superior attention to detail and accuracy.

High degree of professionalism
