Our client is currently recruiting for a lead carpet fitter for my client based in Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering good-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Cut carpet materials to the required specifications using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Install carpets/flooring in accordance with industry standards and company guidelines, ensuring a perfect fit.
- Secure carpets using adhesives, tacks, or other methods as required.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer expectations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on progress.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Good physical fitness as the role requires lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- Must have a full valid driver’s license as role involves driving to various locations
- Familiarity with different types of carpets and flooring materials is a plu
Salary:
- €40-€50k per annum based on experience
- Van and Tools provided
