Location: Castlebar, Co. Mayo
Pay: €16.50 per hour
Hours: Full-Time, 39 hours per week
Roster: 5 days over 7 (Monday to Sunday, including weekends)
About the Role:
Flexsource is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Hygiene Assistant / Cleaning Operative to join a busy healthcare facility in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and disinfecting wards, patient rooms, corridors, and common areas
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control
- Cleaning bathrooms and clinical areas thoroughly
- Safe handling and disposal of waste, and restocking supplies
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience required (healthcare experience advantageous)
- Flexible to work weekends and public holidays
- Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
