This position is responsible in assisting the F&B Operations Manager with the operation and coordination of The Met Bar and Restaurant, ensuring that the profitability of the outlet is in line with targets set by the management and standards of service are maintained at all times.  The Floor Manager will also be responsible for taking on any other duties as requested by Management.


• Review weekly rosters of floor and bar team members within the operation to maximize customer satisfaction, so that payroll is controlled and monitored according to business levels and in line with budgetary target.

• To ensure that the team have clear goals and responsibilities for all daily and weekly tasks in the form of a operational daily task plan.

• Management of standards of personal hygiene and uniform in all outlets

• Ensure that the team receives training to enable them to carry out an effective and professional service.

• Inform F&B Operations Manager of positive and negative opinions

• Address guest complaints in the correct manner

• Checking and maintaining all spaces to include; Tea rooms, The Met restaurant and Bar, Terrace whilst on duty and reporting any areas which require maintenance.

• Guest relations – Ensuring table touches, reservations, table allocations, special occasions etc. are completed daily.

Working hours: 39 hours, 5 over 7
