Job Title: Chef – Healthcare / Long-Term Care
Location: Clifden, Co. Galway
Hours: Full-Time / Part-Time shifts available (08:30 – 17:30)
Breaks: 15-minute morning tea, 30-minute unpaid lunch
About the Role:
The Flexsource is currently recruiting a Chef to work across long-term care and step-down care facilities. The chef will prepare nutritious meals for residents and day care clients, ensure high standards of food hygiene, and support continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare daily meals according to dietary requirements
- Maintain food safety and hygiene compliance
- Transport meals between facilities when required
- Work collaboratively with care staff to meet residents’ needs
Requirements:
- Proven chef experience, preferably in healthcare or long-term care
- Must have own car for meal transport if required
- Garda Vetting required
- Completion of mandatory healthcare trainings
- Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently
