Catering Assistant

About the Role:

We are currently hiring an experienced and motivated Catering Assistant to join our dedicated catering team in Wicklow.

Catering Assitant Duties:

Assist the Catering Manager with daily kitchen operations

Ensure high standards of food hygiene and health & safety are maintained

Follow HACCP guidelines and complete all required records

Clean kitchen surfaces, equipment, and floors according to daily and deep cleaning schedules

Manage washing up and laundry tasks as needed

Rotate and clean stock in cold rooms, freezers, and storage areas

Help place stock orders when required

Dining Room Duties:

Clear and reset tables after meals, replacing tablecloths as necessary

Load and unload the dishwasher; dry and store utensils and dishes

Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness in serving and wash-up areas

Ensure hygiene standards are upheld at all times

Empty and disinfect swill bins and manage waste disposal properly

Competencies Required:

Proven experience as a Catering Assistant, ideally in a similar environment

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

€15–€16 per hour, depending on experience
