Flexsource is delighted to be recruiting for a Business Development Manager on a permanent, full-time basis, covering Munster.

This role is newly created due to our client’s continued growth and expansion within their Power Tools division, with a strong focus on developing their customer base across Munster.

 

Our Client

A well-established sales and distribution business with over 50 years in operation, recognised as a true market leader that has successfully introduced a wide range of leading products to the Irish market.

 

The Role

With a full copy of the job specification available on request, the Business Development Manager will:

  • Play a vital role in growing sales across Munster within the Power Tools category.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed KPIs and sales targets.
  • Demonstrate a strong eye and flair for merchandising, ensuring products are displayed correctly to maximise sales.
  • Attend trade shows, customer open days, product launches, and customer training sessions.
  • Maintain strong awareness of competitor activity and report insights to management.

The Person

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Business Development or sales role, consistently achieving targets and KPIs.
  • Experience in power tools, hardware, construction products, or a similar sector is highly desirable.
  • Previous exposure to brands such as BOSCH, Stanley, Bellota, or similar would be a significant advantage.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of competitor markets.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to present commercial business cases.
  • Willingness to continuously develop product and market knowledge.
  • Full, clean Irish driving licence, with the ability to travel throughout Munster as required.
