Barista

Flexsource are currently recruiting for an experienced Barista on behalf of our clients based in Dublin.

This role is ideal for a customer‑focused, energetic individual with a passion for high‑quality coffee and excellent service.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

·       Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to a consistently high standard.

·       Operate espresso machines, coffee grinders, brewing systems, and other café equipment safely and efficiently.

·       Ensure all drinks meet quality, flavour, and presentation standards before serving to customers.

·       Take customer orders, handle payments, and provide a friendly, welcoming service at all times.

·       Maintain a clean and organized coffee station, seating area, counters, and equipment throughout the day.

·       Track inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other café supplies; notify supervisors when stock needs replenishing.

·       Follow all food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures in line with HACCP and company guidelines.

·       Engage positively with customers, handle queries, manage feedback, and support a warm and inviting café environment.

·       Carry out basic maintenance on coffee machines and equipment and report any technical issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Previous barista experience required
• Valid Manual Handling certificate
• Valid HACCP certification
• Good level of English (spoken and written)
• Flexibility and availability for shifts at short notice
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary:

€14.15 per hour

Hours:

A variety of shifts available (weekdays, weekends, and short‑notice shifts depending on client needs)
