Flexsource are Currently Recruiting for an Apprentice Electrician for our client based in Limerick.
The Electrical Apprentice will learn the electrical trade through a combination of first-hand practical experience and structured classroom-based study provided by SOLAS. This dual approach ensures the development of technical skills, safety awareness, and problem-solving abilities required for modern electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist in the inhouse maintenance, installation, commissioning, and testing of:
Electrical wiring systems and services
Electrical plant and control equipment
Process monitoring and control systems
Work with modern process plant technologies, including:
Electrical and electro-mechanical systems
Electropneumatic systems
Electronic and microprocessor-based systems
Support troubleshooting and fault diagnosis using analytical techniques
Adhere to safety standards and regulatory compliance at all times
Follow safety codes and building regulations
Learning Pathway
On-the-Job Training: Gain practical experience under the supervision of qualified Electrician
SOLAS Structured Training: Attend classroom-based modules covering:
Electrical theory and wiring practices
Control systems and automation
Safety and regulatory compliance
Emerging technologies in electrical engineering
Hours of Work – 08.00am-16.30pm / Monday to Thursday & 8:00am to 15:30pm on Friday – Shift pattern may change.
Rate of Pay – Solas apprentice rates will apply.
