Process Technician

We are now hiring for Process Technicians based in Limerick to join a leading medical device manufacturer and become part of a high-performing team operating advanced automated manufacturing equipment that helps improve vision care worldwide.

We are particularly interested in mechanics, mechanical fitters, maintenance technicians, motor mechanics and industrial electricians with strong hands-on fault-finding and repair experience.

The role:

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Preventative and reactive maintenance
• Equipment repairs and component replacement
• Machine setup, adjustments and changeovers
• Working with sensors, motors, pneumatics and automated equipment
• Supporting Engineering to improve equipment uptime and reliability

Essential:

• Minimum NFQ Level 6 technical qualification, 120 credits
• Minimum 2 years' hands-on mechanical/electrical/maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work a 28-day rotating shift pattern
• Full eligibility to work in Ireland required
