Store Manager Fermoy

Flexsource are currently recruiting a Store Manager for a busy Retail Chain in Fermoy

Main purpose of the role:

Ensure the store operates efficiently and effectively and provide our customers with the very best customer service and fresh food offering at all times in a clean, safe environment. To deliver on key store targets (sales and profitability) through effective management of people and operations.

Responsibilities for this Store Manager role:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of a bustling store.

• Achieving KPIs and targets set by senior management.

• Collaborating with department managers to maintain the highest store standards and drive sales throughout the entire store.

• Providing training, mentoring, and development opportunities for staff members.

• Exploring innovative approaches to boost sales and reduce costs in-store.

• Managing merchandising and promotional changeovers within the store.

• Overseeing cash management procedures.

• Supervising order receiving and stock control processes.

• Ensuring that your management team is effective, well-organized, and successful in their respective departments.

• Upholding a strong brand image by serving as a solid mentor and setting an example in your role as Store Manager.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Minimum 1 years` experience in a management position;

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word);

Experience balancing cash/tills;

Good delegation skills;

An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets;

Commerciality and brand awareness;

Previous experience in Retail, Bar or Off license is required. 

Every Second Weekend Off.
